WHO I AM: Proud mom of Conor, who was diagnosed with autistic disorder and hyperlexia in February 2006 and Sensory Processing Disorder in September 2006. He is shockingly brilliant and teaches me every day how to be a better person.

Overeducated and underpaid. An MBA doesn't come in handy that often when you're a stay at home mother.

Classically trained in voice. And I don't do much with that, either.

Hypothyroid, which makes fitness a MUST. Well, that and two different medications.

I can't help but end all minor pieces (in my head) with a picardy third. What can I say... I want everything to have a happy ending.

Other more normal activities include: spending time with my church family at First Assembly of DeLand, enjoying art festivals whenever possible, blogging way too often, decorating my ever-changing home, lifting weights, running, crossword puzzles, reading page-turners, finding new and exciting ways to waste time on the internet.

If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience.
